Alexis Mac Allister is prepared to leave Brighton this summer with a host of Premier League rivals monitoring the midfielder.
Mac Allister is set to be subject of transfer interest this summer following an impressive season for club and country, with the 24-year-old having formed part of Argentina’s World Cup winning squad in Qatar last winter.
The midfielder started all but one of Argentina’s seven fixtures at the tournament and has shone for a Brighten side pushing for Europe this season, with seven goals in 21 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls.
That form has attracted significant interest with 90min.com reporting that Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle are among the clubs considering an approach.
Each will take encouragement from Mac Allister’s stance with the in-demand Argentine ‘ready’ to leave Brighton and take the next step in his career.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side are in a strong negotiating position however, after Mac Allister signed a new contract with the club in October.
However, Brighton have shown a willingness to sell in recent windows should their valuation be met, with Ben White, Leandro Trossard, and Marc Cucurella among the high-profile departures from the Amex Stadium.
