Aston Villa, Brighton and Newcastle are all considering a move to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer as the midfielder prepares to leave Liverpool on a free transfer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is out of contract at the end of the season and there have been no talks over a potential extension at Liverpool, for who he has made just four Premier League starts during the current campaign.
The 29-year-old has suffered with fitness issues since a promising debut season at Anfield in 2017/18 and looks set to depart the club after struggling for favour under Jurgen Klopp. He has started just 15 league games across the past three seasons.
Brighton were keen on a deal to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain during the January transfer window, but were reluctant to pay a fee given his availability as a free agent this summer.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the Seagulls remain interested in a deal for the midfielder, but are expected to face competition from Aston Villa and Newcastle.
There is also understood to be interest from abroad with clubs in Italy considering an approach for Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has made 145 appearances in all competitions across his six seasons on Merseyside.
He has won 35 caps for England, scoring seven goals, but has not made an appearance at international level since 2019.
