Arsenal are reportedly ‘very interested’ in signing Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jesper Lindstrom.
Frankfurt are expected to cash-in on the Denmark international at the end of the season and Arsenal are among the clubs considering an approach for the 23-year-old, who is valued at around €30m (£25m) at the Bundesliga side.
Lindstrom impressed as Frankfurt won the Europa League last season and has produced the best return of his career in 2022/23, with seven goals in 22 league appearances. He has 13 goals and 14 assists in 70 appearances across two seasons at the club.
German publication Sport1 are reporting that the winger will be allowed to leave this summer should Frankfurt’s valuation be met, with Brentford also interested. Thomas Frank’s squad contains a large continent of Danish players and Lindstrom is of interest to the Bees.
Bild have named Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund as rival suitors for Lindstrom, who was named as Bundesliga Rookie of the Season in 2021/22.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are said to be among the Premier League clubs taking an interest in Lindstrom’s Frankfurt teammate, Evan N’Dicka. The centre-back is set to leave the German side on a free transfer this summer after turning down the club’s final contract offer.
