Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says he is “not thinking of going into the market” when the transfer window opens in January.
The Argentine was speaking after his side almost squandered a three-goal lead against Luton Town in the Premier League, but came away from Kenilworth Road with a much-needed 3-2 win.
Cole Palmer opened the scoring in the first half, before setting up Noni Madueke to double the Blues’ lead in the 37th minute.

Palmer grabbed his second of the day following a cool finish with 20 minutes remaining, but goals from Elijah Adebayo and Ross Barkley ensured a nervy conclusion for the visitors.
When asked about Chelsea‘s transfer plans in January, Pochettino told TNT Sports: “It is a thing that we are going to discuss with the owner. At the moment the most important thing is to work with our squad and our team.
“Players need to step up and be part of the squad and be available. From the beginning of the season, we suffer many injuries.

“Personally, I am not thinking of going into the market but it is something we will discuss with the owners and the sporting director.”
Pochettino’s comments represented a change of tune from the 51-year-old, who said the team need to “improve in the next transfer market” following defeat to Everton earlier this month.
Chelsea moved up to 10th in the Premier League table while Luton Town remain in the relegation zone.
