Premier League clubs are showing ‘serious interest’ in signing Juventus’ England u-21 star Samuel Iling-Junior.
Iling-Junior has developed impressively since leaving Chelsea’s academy system to sign for Juventus in 2020 and has broken into the first-team in Turin over the last two campaigns.
The 20-year-old has made 19 appearances in all competitions so far this season and has progressed into the England u-21 set-up under Lee Carsley, having won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with the national team in 2022.
Iling-Junior scored his first goals for England u-21s with a brace in the 7-0 win over Luxembourg this month and his performances have not unnoticed by English clubs.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that there is interest in signing Iling-Junior from Italy and England, with the exciting youngster capable of operating at full-back and further forward down the flanks.
Iling-Junior is out of contract at Juventus in 2025 and is yet to agree an extension, and clubs will be hoping to capitalise on that situation with offers in the summer. Tottenham, West Ham, Brighton and Everton have all been credited with interest.
