Ralf Rangnick names his first transfer target for Manchester United

Manchester United interim coach keen on bringing Timo Werner to Manchester United

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is Keen for the club to make a summer move for misfiring Chelsea forward Timo Werner.


The Red devils Boss have history with Werner, having signed him from Stuttgart during his time at RB Leipzig. Although Rangnick was sporting director for the majority of the pairs time at the club, he did coach the Germany international during the 2018/19 season. 


In that campaign, Werner was in fine form, registering 19 Goals and 13 assist in 38 appearances. The following season he was even better, netting 28 times in the Bundesliga alone and earning himself a move to Chelsea in the process.


However, since arriving England, his firm has been shaky. Offside goals and poor misses has dominated his time at the capital with the Germany international managing 15 Goals in 64 appearances so far.


According to Bild, Rangnick is Keen to giving his former player the chance to reignite his stagnating career at Old Trafford. Details to the potential move are spares at this moment but Rangnick’s strong relationship with blues Boss Thomas Tuchel may help things go smoothly.
