Rasmus Hojland is available for Manchester United’s trip to face Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend, Erik ten Hag has confirmed.
The Denmark international is yet to make his debut for the club after arriving from Atalanta with a back issue, but the summer signing has since returned to first-team training and is in contention to feature at the Emirates.
“We had a good training week and tomorrow we have the final training,” Ten Hag said at his pre-match press conference.
“He [Hojlund] is doing well so he will be available. I think for every player there is a big spotlight. At United you have to perform, every position, every player.”
Manchester United have been active on transfer deadline day, securing deals for Turkey goalkeeper Altay Bayindir and a loan move for Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon.
The Red Devils are also closing in on the signing of Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, though Ten Hag was tight-lipped on the club’s pursuit of the Morocco international.
“I can’t tell because I don’t know if he has signed. I think we have done good business, we constructed a strong squad and we are ready for the fight.”
