Chelsea demand £5m loan fee for Armando Broja

Chelsea are willing to allow Armando Broja to leave on a straight loan deal before the deadline, provided the club receive a loan fee of £5m.

Broja has been linked with leaving Chelsea before the transfer window’s deadline at 11pm this evening, as he looks to earn regular opportunities.

A host of Premier League clubs have expressed interest in signing the Albanian, though Chelsea’s demand for a permanent fee of £50m has proven prohibitive.

Wolves saw a loan approach for Broja rejected earlier this week, while Fulham have also enquired about a loan move with an option to buy. The Telegraph are reporting that Chelsea are now willing to let Broja move on a straight loan deal, though will demand a sizeable fee to do so.

Fulham are currently unwilling to meet the £5m asking price for a six-month arrangement, as the Cottagers look to agree a deal with their West London neighbours.

Marco Silva’s side are desperate to bring in a forward before the deadline and have seen an approach for Borussia Dortmund’s Sebastien Haller fall through, after the Ivorian rejected the move.

Aston Villa and West Ham have also been linked with signing Broja before the transfer window’s deadline.
